It looks like we have 6 or 8 inches of snow at the church and more falling. I don't know if it will turn to rain and melt when the sun comes up or not. If you don't feel safe getting out to come to church, please don't. However, I will have service with whoever comes. Jerry Beck

We received that Howard Muse passed away in his sleep where he lived in Oregon. He was not in good health, but nobody seems to have any other information. Howard was a part of the Reno Nazarene Congregation for several years and played on our worship team. His parents attended here when he was a small child. Then he went out into deep sin for many years. A few years ago God brought him to us through rather unusual circumstances and he found Jesus for himself. We are saddened by his departure.

Potluck this Sunday: This is the first Sunday of the month and we will have potluck lunch after the morning service. Bring something to eat and plan to stay. Bring enough for your family and a visitor. This Sunday evening we will plan to meet at 6:00 p.m. to decorate the church for Christmas. Come help and be part of the fellowship. The Financial Peace course that was running on Sunday evenings has been completed.

Joshua Ryan Chilson was born Tuesday morning to Alma and Greg Chilson. He is 7 lb. 4 oz. and 19.5 inches long.

Ladies Bible Study canceled tonight

The ladies Bible Study that was scheduled tonight has been canceled. �Carol's mother fell and possibly cracked a rib. �She has taken her to the doctor and doesn't know how long it will be or in what shape they will be in when it is over.
